The comfortable and active shoe models from Berkemann are characterised by a variety of product and material properties. For example, Berkemann uses only particularly soft leather from European suppliers, solvent-free adhesives, as well as particularly light poplar wood from Central European forestry - all in terms of holistic well-being.
FEATURES
Toeffler – this is how the coarse rustic wooden clogs with nailed shafts are called Berkemann. Their origin lies in the 70s and since then, they have been uninterrupted, in different variants, in the Berkemann range. The soft toeffler impresses with a particularly soft edge at the entrance. The double-layered, extra leather protects the instep as a soft bead from chafing and makes wearing twice as comfortable. The soft toeffler like all Toefflers from Berkemann – as a quality feature – has a sturdy yet breathable genuine leather shaft, which is attached to the solid wooden sole with nails instead of cheaper stapling needles. In addition, the original 5-phase footbed incorporated into the lightweight poplar wood sole supports the natural rolling process of the foot, while the toe grip function trains both foot and calf muscles with each step. In addition, the shock-absorbing midsole absorbs the impact energy, up to the spine.
